January and the beginning of February has been a very busy month for Al Peretz and Yesikita Coppola who decided to make two video clips for the Duran Duran Genero TV competition.

Al Peretz and PhilouX Bunjie (The man who stole a leopard)

There is always something exciting about shooting the first scenes of a film. It is like opening wide an optimistic door to dreams to come. We all know it won't be easy. We all know the end result will be the sum of a lot of hard work and that some people might not like it. Yet, despite all this, puttijng a story to film is magical. It has to do with Belief and Hope. Belief that we'll all do our best and Hope that the audience will escape time while the story lasts.

Yesterday, 21 people were crazy enough to believe in this magic and lend their avatars for the best part of 3 hours in the great sets build by LollyPop Congrejo to shoot a scene of Listen to Me under the direction of Hussayn Salomon.

C'est toujours très excitant de tourner la première scène d'un film. C'est comme si l'on ouvrait grand la porte de l'optimisme aux rêves à venir. Nous savons tous que ce ne sera pas facile. Nous savons tous la somme de travail que réclamera le résultat final  et que certaines personnes n'aimeront peut être pas ce résultat. Pourtant, malgré cela, mettre une histoire en images est magique. C'est lié à l'intime conviction que l'on donnera tous le meilleur de nous même et à l'espoir de transporter le public ailleurs, le temps de l'histoire.

Hier, 21 personnes ont été suffisamment dingue pour croire en cette magie et prêter leur avatar pour un bon triple d'heures dans les superbes décors de LollyPop Congrejo afin que Hussayn Salomon puisse tourner la scène de rue de Listen to Me.
